This client specifically works in protection services, so we wanted to have the elements of a gate, and aspects of the coin showing a safe and defensive design. In the design you can see a number of stars. We love to add stars to our custom business cards because they represent the military past, but also in this case represented another aspect of safety. The safety behind America is far reaching and because we love our country we often include things that represent that.

Fire department challenge coins are something that Embleholics care about. We work with local and nationwide firefighters to make them amazing coins. When we were contacted by the Boeing firefighters, we wanted to make something special since they were local to us.

Not a lot of design elements had to go into this coin. The customers provided us with their logo and wanted to keep the coin simple and professional. We suggested they make the front and back of the coin protrude out and have 3D elements to it, but nothing that really pops out of the coin’s plane. We did this by having the coin be a little more thicker than we normally make the coins, so that the normal 2D elements really could pop out and become 3D.

We also wanted to have a contrast from the colors on this coin. That’s why we included the deep dark reds that firefighters and fire departments love on their challenge coins. We contrasted the deep reds with the antique gold colors that you see in the finished design. This cause the logos and the crest really pop out to the viewer, a brilliant combination.

With all these design elements put into the coin we made a coin that is simple in design and look but complex in the thought process that went into making the coin perfect. It’s also a lesson into the concept to know where less is better; adding more to the coin can take away from great a coin can be.

Command coins are something that we spend a lot of time on. We understand that respected leaders will be giving out these coins to service men and women. We also know that command coins are often given out to VIP’s who visit the commands or have done things for the command that are important. Because of this, a coin that a leader gives away says a lot about that leader.

In this particular challenge coin we made it so that the unit is represented by the aircraft that they fly. We wanted to have that featured as the main focal point of the coin, the point which draws your attention first when you see the coin. We also knew it was important to feature one of the important leaders who the base was named after, putting their face as one side. When it comes to making command coins we often like our coins to have an older feel to them–which looks nice for almost any occasions–using our antique option. We also like to make some coins out of copper or bronze to look even more reminiscent of the past. With this command coin we capture exactly that, and the 3D face of the leader faithfully represents him in a realistic and honorable manner.

The 3D aspects of this coin are outstanding. On the front you can see that the man’s head and body pop out of the coin. We make every effort with our 3D designs to really give the customer a sense of a real 3D effect and feel. And best of all, we don’t charge extra for 3D.

We also made this coin to have cutout features so that we could have the design focus on the most important aspects. As you can see with this coin it has some cutout features but they are positioned in such a way that makes them contribute to the coin and not take away anything.

Creating a freemason coin can be a complex task when it comes to making sure that the coins include correct imagery and symbols that are important to Masons. Many challenge coins manufacturers don’t understand the importance of providing great artwork to their customers. Not only that when we receive feedback from our customers on what they want changed, we take that seriously and update the artwork to represent their desires. With this coin we made a lot of different small changes for our customer, but ended up making a great coin that they enjoyed as well as those who received it.

Freemason Coin Done Right!

With this coin we wanted to make something that was special. A lot of our customers have looked at some of our off shaped coins and decide to work with us because we make extremely unique cutout designs. We also don’t charge our customers a large amount for having cutout designs and encourage them to make something that they are going to want to have, and which represents our ability to make great coins. With this coin the customer wanted a square looking coin with some 3D elements to it that really popped out of the coin. He also wanted to make sure that the coin represented his lodge accurately. Because of the detail necessary to make a coin which represents a lodge accurately, freemason coin can be challenging to get right.

All-Seeing Eye

At the top of the coin you can see that we wanted to feature the All-Seeing Eye as this is a very important symbol in masonic traditions. The all seeing eye represents the symbol of deity, abstract yet always omnipresent. We featured this at the top center and with enough space around it so that when someone looks at the coin they can focus on what is most important.

Around the coin on the front is the Apron which represents what is taken into the next life with a Mason. We wanted to make sure that this was also featured in the coin but also integrated well into the design.

In the bottom area of the design you can see the compass which is an important symbol to represent the bond that is shared with humanity and also other masons, who they call brothers and sisters.

47th Problem of Euclid

A freemason Coin often can seem bland and not very different looking. They also can feature very little imagination when it comes to the design. This coin, however, features great details. If you look at the back of the coin, you can see that the checkered floor is a representation of the 47th Problem of Euclid, which most people would not see this right away. Looking closely you can also see the Blazing Star represented by the Sun and the Moon.

World Motorsports Veterans Coin

When it comes to designing and producing custom coins, Embleholics puts in the time and effort for each customer to make them right. We use professional artist who are trained to understand the customer’s needs and to take the customer’s feedback to make a custom coin that is exactly what the customer wants. With this particular coin we did spent a lot of time with the customer to make sure to provide them something that represents them, their team, and something that people would cherish for many years.

The Gear

The world of motorsports is surrounded by machines. The smell of burnt tires, the sound of engines running full throttle, and people yelling at the top of their lungs for the cars to go faster. With this coin we wanted to represent the vehicles that are the key focus when it comes to the world of motorsports. With this coin we wanted to make it in the shape of a gear because the customer wanted something that was different from the rest of their coins that they had. They didn’t want the traditional round simple coin. Our art team suggested that they make a gear, have it not only cut out, but also 3D and really pop out of the coin.

We also wanted to feature the American eagle as that is a key symbol of America and in this case the veterans that had served in the military. As you can see with all of our custom coins, we spend a lot of time focusing on what symbols to use and the importance of what those symbols mean, while recreating them faithfully. We additionally made the eagle 3D and had it pop even further out of the coin.

As you look at the back side of the coin you can see that we took some additional elements that the customer wanted and put them into the design. When our customers request to have specific items added that sometimes can be too much, we try to position them in a nice and clear way such that they can still be included, but the coin doesn’t become overwhelming. With this coin we made the trident, flags, and rifle to be assembled in a classy and clean way. This removed clutter that otherwise could have been apparent in the design.
