In some historical form or another, Naval Hospital Bremerton has charted a course in providing medical support and patient centered care to Sailors and Marines, their families and all others entrusted to the command in the greater Puget Sound for well over 100 years. NHB continues to be a community-based acute care and obstetrical hospital, offering expert primary care, emergency care and a broad range of medical and surgical specialties to carry out the three-fold primary mission to support warfighters, past and present, and their families.

When the Naval Hospital Bremerton FCPOA commissioned this Navy challenge coin to us, we realized that this could be one of the most complex coin we ever produced. They wanted to use the Washington state borders as the base shape of the coin. And they also want a three dimensional digital camouflage pattern as the background on one side, and diamond plate pattern on the other side. Other than that they also want some graphics and the USN insignia to be emblazoned on both surface of the coin.

The result is a radical and one-of-a-kind challenge coin that we all can be proud of. The engravings of the graphics, USN insignia, and the 3D pattern backgrounds are all on spot.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), formally the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, is an organization of US war veterans, who, as military service members fought in wars, campaigns, and expeditions on foreign land, waters, or airspace. The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. The VFW is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.

The members of VFW Post 1383 of Klamath Falls, Oregon are all combat veterans who continue their tradition of service to their country and community by initiating and supporting programs to provide for their fellow veterans, improve their community, and preserve our American heritage. The requested us a custom challenge coin with elegance and aesthetics that could represent their mission & vision well.

This coin is covered with shiny golden plating, with the VFW logo on one side, and the Pelican Post 1383 logo on the other side. Nothing complicated with the basic layout, but we had to make sure that all of the graphics and letterings are engraved flawlessly. What we get as a result is a simple, yet burnished and elegant challenge coin.

They originally focused on criminal defense work, the firm has expanded to offer a full suite of services including injury law. Their Military Law team has clients in all 50 states, and handles Federal cases nationwide and State cases in Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, and Illinois.

This Veterans Business challenge coin commissioned to us, is probably one of the simple looking coin we have ever manufactured. But no mistake, while the base shape and details of the coin is plain & uncomplicated, the details of the small logos and insignias on the one side of the coin need to be sculpted perfectly so the texts would still be readable and the graphics shown wonderfully.

The brushed brass-colored base coin with no motif or pattern whatsoever gives a bold yet sophisticated look. And the amazingly engraved logos and insignias really present a unique and multifaceted accent to the whole appearance of this Veterans Business challenge coin. The colors are nicely printed that even they are small in size and complex, they stay perfectly where they should be.

The Twin Suns Spire is apart of The Dark Empire, an international Star Wars costume club that focuses on the Dark Side. The Twin Suns Spire attends conventions and supports charity work throughout Arizona. They are always looking for more people to troop with! Not limited to the Sith, they also allow for Dark Jedi, Grey Jedi (Jedi who walk somewhere between the worlds of the light and the dark), Sith Troopers, pirates, and even non-Mandalorian mercenaries.

When it comes to work for a hardcore fan of movies or other pop cultures, you want to make sure that you don’t make mistakes. Because they are so meticulous about every single details, we need to make sure that we don’t miss anything. While the basic concept of this custom challenge coin design is quite simple, which is using The Dark Empire logo on one side and The Twin Suns Spire logo on the other, we still needed to make sure that the embossed lines and the painted colors are all spot on.

Since they already have colorful and cool looking logos, the result is already as expected. All the details on the logos are carved and embossed beautifully. And the Sith patterns carved on the edge on the coin really gives this challenge coin a mysterious and menacing vibe.

Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad (AVRS) is a non-profit organization designed to provide emergency medical transport and CPR/First Aid training to the community. The organization is operated by volunteers using donated money from the community, and supplemented by Hanover County funds. AVRS was the first rescue squad in Hanover County and falls under the umbrella of Hanover Fire and EMS.

When they commissioned the custom challenge coin design and production to us, they mentioned that they want something straightforward and elegant challenge coin. So whenever a client requests something like this, we know that we must emphasize the overall design of the coin on the material and basic layout. Nothing screams elegancy louder than a brushed brass with minimal paint on it. The rawness of a brushed metal with the boldness of uncarved surface really going to give this coin a vintage and exclusive look.

By observing the photos of the end result of the production, you can see that while the basic concept and look of this coin is simple with minimal engravings, the emblazoned logo and small insignias are perfectly executed that they become a beautiful accents of the design, and the incised pattern on the edge of the coin gives a bold and elegant expression.
