Eleven Delta Expeditionary Coin

The Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) is a force within the United States Navy under the organizational structure of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command. Sailors assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 11, a part of MESF and as a subcomponent of the Navy, conduct training on the launch and recovery of a 34-foot patrol. boat as part of job qualification requirement (JQR) during drill weekend training held onboard Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach.

MSRON 11 is a U.S. Navy Reserve unit from Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach currently deployed to CLDJ and consists of three warfare specialties to accomplish its primary mission of escort and security. The specialties include the maritime team, convoy team, and Tactical Operations Center.

The Eleven Delta of MSRON 11 gave us the order to produce their custom challenge coin. The design was a shield-shaped metal coin with engraved graphics and text on the sides. The challenge coin would be awarded to one of their Mission Commanders. The colors would be blue on the front, and white on the back.

Coins with solid colors painted on most of the surfaces need to be produced using the right materials or the paint would be easily scratched or peeled off. We at Embleholics will make sure that the quality of the finish is excellent and durable.

East Hampton Anchor Lodge Coin

East Hampton Anchor Lodge Coin

East Hampton Anchor Lodge Coin

Masonically, the anchor is a symbol of safety. It reminds us to put our trust in Deity, to learn the lessons of Masonry, and to follow them faithfully. Then We shall be safely anchored “in a peaceful harbor, where the wicked cease of troubling and the weary shall find rest.” . An Anchor Lodge usually offers a range of quality accommodations including harbor view suites, suites, family units, and apartments.

The Anchor Lodge No. 112 AF & AM is located in East Hampton, Connecticut. East Hampton was first settled in 1639 and was officially incorporated in 1767. The town’s name is derived from its location on the east bank of the Connecticut River. East Hampton has a long and storied history and has played an important role in the development of the state of Connecticut.

The design of the custom challenge coin that was commissioned to us was something straightforward and simple, a classic coin with some rope pattern on the edge, and a masonic logo and another symbol engraved on the sides.

To produce something like this, we made sure that we used the right material for the coin base so it would look luxurious while it actually would not be expensive.

Drone Pilots Challenge Coin

Drone Pilots Challenge Coin

Drone Pilots Challenge Coin

The future of aviation is here, and in order to fly your drone, you must obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA. FAA or The Federal Aviation Administration is the largest transportation agency of the U.S. government and regulates all aspects of civil aviation in the country as well as over surrounding international waters. The certificate released by the FAA demonstrates that you understand the regulations, operating requirements, and procedures for safely flying drones.

The FAA collaborates with industry and communities to advance drone operations and integrate them into the national airspace. The Operations Over People rule became effective on April 21, 2021. Drone pilots operating under Part 107 may fly at night, over people and moving vehicles without a waiver as long as they meet the requirements defined in the rule. Airspace authorizations are still required for night operations in controlled airspace under 400 feet.

Motorola Solutions gave us a task to manufacture Custom Challenge Coins to be awarded to their Drone Pilots. The design is pretty minimalistic, with only their logo on one side, a sculpture of a drone on the other, and only using one color for the whole design.

While looks simple and clean, this coin has a balanced proportion and flawless finish of the green paint over the brushed metal we used as the base material.

Delta Detachment Challenge Coin

Delta Detachment Challenge Coin

Delta Detachment Challenge Coin

Delta Detachment, famously known as “Delta Force,” officially known as 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D), is one of the U.S. special missions units primarily focused on the counterterrorism mission. It is a special operations force of the United States Army, under the operational control of JSOC. Delta Force’s missions primarily involve counterterrorism, hostage rescue, direct action, and special reconnaissance, often against high-value targets.

Compared to the United States’ military history, Delta is relatively young, having been formed in 1977 by its first commander, Col. Charles Beckwith. With the growing threat of terrorism around the world, Beckwith saw a need for a precision strike force within the Army after working with the British Special Air Service (SAS) in the early 1970s.

The custom challenge coin that we crafted was ordered by the Delta Force and the Madigan Army Medical Center. The design concept of the coin is a patch so it was shaped like a shield with a ribbon underneath. The insignias of both units were placed on the sides of the challenge coin.

The Delta Force’s side has a dinosaur skull and crossbones with a black background, finished with silver, white, and yellow paint. The Madigan Army Medical Center has an etched and painted image of a mountain and a US flag in front of it.

CVN 70 Challenge Coin

CVN 70 Challenge Coin

CVN 70 Challenge Coin

USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) is the third Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and is named in honor of Congressman Carl Vinson of Georgia. Along with deployments in Operation Desert Strike, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Southern Watch, and Operation Enduring Freedom, Carl Vinson has been involved in a number of notable events.

The keel was laid at Newport News Shipbuilding on 11 October 1975, and on 15 March 1980, the ship was launched. CVN 70 is designed for a 50-year service life, like each of the Navy’s aircraft carriers, When the air wing is embarked, the ship carries more than 60 attack fighter jets, helicopters, and other aircraft, all of which take launch and land aboard the carrier at sea.

The CVN 70 Chief Petty Officer’s Mess wanted a prestigious and artistic-looking custom challenge coin for their personnel. The design of the front side would be based on a navy compass and an engraved illustration of the ship fighting with a giant octopus on the back.

We always design the graphics and layout digitally and have it approved by our client before we go into production. Our state-of-the-art machinery can take almost any complex and small details, as you can see in the photos of this beautiful coin.
