The 75th Ranger Regiment, also known as Army Rangers, is the elite light infantry unit and special operations force within the United States Army Special Operations Command. This unit is famously known as a lethal, agile, and flexible force, capable of executing a myriad of complex, joint special operations missions in support of U.S. policy and objectives.

Today, they conduct large-scale Joint Forcible Entry Operations and execute surgical Special Operations Raids around the globe in high-risk, uncertain, and politically sensitive areas. Rangers come from various backgrounds and levels of military experience, but most Rangers share several values. This unusual custom challenge coin that the Army Rangers ordered from us is an example of a coin with a special shape and design. It’s designed to look like a Rangers’ uniform patch, with some additional detailing such as engraved insignias and inscriptions.

The base material for the coin that we used was a dark brass-colored metal with a matte finish on the back, and glossy paints applied on the front side. You can see in the photos, the detailing quality of the etched letters, covered perfectly with the paint layer, even to the edges of the carvings.
