Stars also fill the night sky. For Mars, we did a texture on the metal and then filled it in with a transparent paint.

This particular bottle opener coin was commissioned by a shift within a fire department. At first we tinkered with the idea of the bottle opener coin function working on the end, but we settled with the hold almost near the center of the coin.

This customer worked very hard on the design of their bottle opener coin, and there are numerous details hidden within this coin. The shape of the coin is the shield on a firefighter’s helmet. The front states who commissioned the coin, and their date of inception. The back features a very interesting image of swarming bees, meant to represent ‘B’ shift. If you look closely, the main bee is carrying two buckets of water, each labeled A and C. This brilliant addition to their bottle opener coin was meant to seem like the B shift is carrying the water, the load of the other two shifts. I’m sure both A and C didn’t like that. Maybe they will make their own bottle opener coin one day in order to show up B shift?

Aside from that, we add a wonderful touch to the top of the coin with the 3D element.
