The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is a fraternal organization consisting of sworn law enforcement officers in the United States. It reports a membership of over 355,000 members organized in 2,100 local chapters (lodges), state lodges, and the national Grand Lodge. The organization attempts to improve the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those they serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation.

The WSFOP or Washington State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police purpose or mission is to promote fraternalism of police officers in the state of Washington; host regional seminars of interest for law enforcement officers that local governments are unable to provide, and also work with charitable organizations throughout the state of Washington. We were glad that we had a chance to produce a custom challenge coin for them.

This is one-of-a-kind challenge coin because it has a star on both sides of the coin which has its points protruding the edge of the coin. And as you can see in the photos, the details of the engraved scenery and FOP logo it’s not a simple one. The outlines has to be engraved with the right width and the colors has to be painted exactly where they should be. The strong blue and yellow colors really give this coin a really fascinating accent.

Masonic Lodge Challenge Coin

A Masonic lodge, often termed a private lodge or constituent lodge, is the basic organizational unit of Freemasonry. It is also commonly used as a term for a building in which such a unit meets. The Lodge meets regularly and conducts the usual formal business of any small organization. They approve minutes, elect new members, appoint officers and take their reports, consider correspondence, bills and annual accounts, organize social and charitable events, etc.

Union Lodge #291 Free & Accepted Masons was regularly constituted on November 29th, A.D. 1854, A.L. 5854. The name “Union” was chosen by men who believed that this Country should not be divided, hence the name “Union”. We were commissioned by them to create the custom challenge coin for their 165th Anniversary in 2019.

We designed and crafted a straightforward but elegant custom challenge coin for them. With brushed brass-colored material for the coin, with the Freemason logo on one side, and their anniversary emblem on the other. Encircling those graphics are only simple pattern on both sides, and we only painted it with one color on one side, which helps to pop out the graphics and the lettering. As you can see, the result is a classy coin with remarkable finish.

Hometown Heroes Alliance raises funds and awareness for first responders and provides financial, physical and emotional support to as many in need as possible. Many are physically disabled from on-the-job incidents, or those directly impacted by disasters from which they protect the public, also become financially disadvantaged due to their circumstances. Producing events such as benefit concerts allows the organization to allocate significant funds directly to those in need.

We are very honored to be selected as the designer and manufacturer of Hometown heroes Alliance custom challenge coin. We really hope that a well-designed and perfectly crafted challenge coin would represent them and their noble cause, so we had to make sure that everything was done right, from the basic design composition, to the choice of letter font and the colors of the coin and other graphics on it.

The end result is a quite simple but eye-catching custom challenge coin. The basic Black & White color composition is always a classic, and the Hometown Heroes logo on one side and the Copout Adventures logo on the other side, complete the humble yet celebrated spirit of the Hometown Heroes, which would always be remembered by anyone receiving the coin.

Superintendents Challenge Coin

Camp Shelby is a training facility and mobilization station under the US Army Forces Command. The camp has 350 active duty soldiers, 800 National Guardsmen, 20 Army Reserves, 300 civilians and 525 dependents. Camp Shelby’s history dates back to before World War I. It started as a basic training facility for soldiers headed off to the front lines. It is the largest state-owned and operated field training center in the United States.

They requested us to make a custom superintendents challenge coin for them. Superintendent jobs are special positions awarded to senior NCOs based on their grade, an installation’s needs and how well someone might perform in the job. They take on management duties, mentorship and career counseling, and other personnel and logistics issues within a unit.

Using common simple concept of a challenge coin, we put the Camp Shelby logo on one side, and their other mascot & insignias on the other. Using sand-blasted like texture for the background of the surface, and applying clean and smooth finish for the edge of the coin. The colors used are glossy paint on some areas, enough to give nice accents and not overwhelming. The small letterings on the edge of the coin and on the small insignias are engraved well that they are shown and readable.

In the United States, a department of public safety is a state or local government agency which often has a broad portfolio of responsibilities, but the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety does things a little differently than your average emergency services department.

Unlike most jurisdictions, their services are not separated into different departments; police, fire and 911 are all part of a single, streamlined team. This allows each service to work more closely, train more efficiently, and communicate together to provide the optimal service to those in Alpharetta. For the community we serve, that translates into low crime rates, faster responses to emergency calls, and the lowest possible ISO rating so homeowners enjoy lower insurance rates.

We are delighted to be chosen to design and produce their custom challenge coin. They wanted a stand out and distinguished coin, so we chose to have shiny chrome-like finish for the surface. One side shows the sculpted building and their control room, with only using golden finish as color accent. And the other side is just the 911 insignia, with American flags enclose it, and their motto engraved perfectly on the bottom of it. As you can see in the photos, it’s one shiny and stand out challenge coin indeed!
