Masonic Lodge 32 Coin

Masonic Lodge 32 Coin

Masonic Lodge 32 Coin

A Masonic lodge, also known as a private lodge or constituent lodge, is the basic organizational unit of Freemasonry. It is usually used for a masonic unit to meet. Every new lodge must be warranted or chartered by a Grand Lodge, but is subject to its direction only in enforcing the published constitution of the jurisdiction.

Vegas Lodge #32 is the oldest masonic lodge in Southern Nevada, proudly serving the community since June 9th, 1908. With over 600 members, Vegas 32, as it is called by friends and members, has been serving the community for over 100 years. The lodge was dispensed on June the 15th, 1907, and was granted its charter on June 9th, 1908. The lodge’s first Worshipful Master was John S. Park, a prominent member of the Las Vegas business community in Las Vegas’ early years.

They requested us to manufacture this distinguishable custom challenge coin. As opposed to the normal round shape of a challenge coin, they wanted it to have the shape of the Map of the State of Nevada. Other than that, they just want the Vegas Lodge 32 logo on one side, colored and have a Nevada Flag blue as the background color, and the Grand Lodge of the State of Nevada emblem on the other, unpainted.

MSG Detachment Challenge Coin

MSG Detachment Challenge Coin

MSG Detachment Challenge Coin

An MSG (Marine Security Guard) is a part of the Marine Corps Embassy Security Group, whose detachments provide security at American embassies, American consulates, and other official United States Government offices such as one in Shanghai, China. MSGs respond immediately to large and small crises, including demonstrations, bomb threats, fires, nuclear/biological/chemical threats, and facility intrusion attempts.

The primary mission of MSGs is to protect U.S. citizens and property and prevent the compromise of classified U.S. government information. This is accomplished under the guidance and operational control of a civilian federal agent of the Diplomatic Security Service, known as the Regional Security Officer (RSO) who is the senior U.S. law enforcement representative and security attaché at U.S. diplomatic posts around the world.

The MSG Detachment Shanghai commissioned us to create a representable custom challenge coin for them. They didn’t want a common-looking challenge coin, but rather something memorable that could represent both the countries in a stylish way. So the basic concept was to put one side as the USA side, and the other as the Chinese side. Each with different graphics and ornaments to be put in the design. The result was a colorful, distinctive, and pretty challenge coin.

Red Bison Challenge Coin

Red Bison Challenge Coin

Red Bison Challenge Coin

Red Bison Advisory Group LLC is located in Bellevue, WA, United States, and is part of the Radio and Television Broadcasting Industry. RBAG is a company in the natural resources (oil, gas and fertilizer plants) and information and communication technology sectors. They believe every commercial real estate (CRE) building owner/operator deserves a single, next-generation cybersecurity connectivity platform integrating all connections and systems with visibility to all building system performance, enabling full utilization and monetization of a property.

In 2019, Red Bison disrupted the network edge launching a security first, next generation building connectivity platform and business model for the commercial real estate (CRE) and multifamily (MFU) markets. The Red Bison platform, a single, high-speed, highly secure technology solution, integrates all connections for operational, property (PropTech), and tenant-based systems onto its platform, providing visibility to data not available in current solutions.

Red Bison commissioned a custom challenge coin to honor its four leaders. They wanted something delicate and representative, using graphic symbols that portray their identity and their spirit. They wanted an image of a bison on one side, and the Star Spangled Banner on the other. With these simple requests, we just needed to be sure that the production and the design execution is on point. The result is an elegant coin with pretty details and patterns.

Operation Freedom’s Sentinel Coin

Operation Freedom’s Sentinel Coin

Operation Freedom’s Sentinel Coin

In continuation of the War in Afghanistan as part of the larger Global War on Terrorism, to all missions succeeding the Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), the U.S. government used Operation Freedom’s Sentinel (OFS) as the official name. Operation Freedom’s Sentinel is part of the NATO-led Resolute Support Mission.

OFS had two components: counterterrorism and working with allies as part of Resolute Support. While the bulk of the new mission was under the NATO-led Resolute Support Mission (RS), “a separate ‘non-NATO’ contingent of U.S. forces will participate in force protection, logistical support, and counterterrorism activities. Operation Freedom Sentinel was expected to formally end on August 31, 2021, but concluded with the final withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan on August 30.

This custom challenge coin was ordered by the Task Force Justice 19 CID which was an element of the OFS. They wanted a unique challenge coin that could memorialize their duty in Afghanistan, so they asked us to make the coin to be shaped like the country’s map. Apart from that, they wanted us to have their insignias and mottos to be imprinted on both sides.

The result was a very distinctive and representative challenge coin. Using a shiny silver-colored metal as the base, the insignias and the letterings engraved on the surfaces were nicely machined and colored.

OEF-HOE Challenge Coin

OEF-HOE Challenge Coin

OEF-HOE Challenge Coin

Operation Enduring Freedom – Horn of Africa (OEF-HOA) is an element of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). The Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) is one of the leading military segments assigned to execute the objectives of the mission. Both of these organizations have been historically part of the United States Central Command.

CJTF-HOA’s mission is to conduct operations in the Combined Joint Operations Area to enhance partner nation capacity, promote regional security and stability, dissuade conflict, and protect U.S. and coalition interests. CJTF-HOA is essential to U.S. Africa Command’s efforts to build partner strength to counter violent extremists and address other regional security partnerships.

The 45th Engineer Vertical Construction Company is one of the battalions assigned to participate in the CJTF-HOA and OEF-HOA, and they commissioned us a custom challenge coin. They want something that represents the collaboration between the two continents. Represented on each side with their own symbols, we needed to make sure the final result meets their expectation in terms of precision and quality.

You can see from the photos that all of the graphic elements were perfectly engraved on both sides of the coin. The inscriptions etched on the edge of the coin are also on point, as with the colors that were printed perfectly on the surfaces of the ornaments.
