The Medical Field is among the fastest growing industries today. Registered Nurses are among the top five largest occupations in the nation. The Bartow High School Medical and Fire Academy was founded to fulfill the needs.

The Bartow Senior Medical and Fire Academy is a multi-year program. Upon graduation, students will have the necessary skills and certifications for employment or continued education in the healthcare industry. The Academy is ready to give students a learning experience in the medical and public service worlds. Students will leave with certifications to get them going.

They ordered their custom challenge coin from us, and they wanted something clean and simple, without too many decorations and elements. So we started with a basic round metal without any patterned edges, and we placed their logo on the front side, and have its silhouette embossed on the back side.

We only use the three colors from their logo and have them painted nicely over the base coin with the grey metal finish. On the back side, they etched some inscriptions taken from Gandhi’s quote: “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”. We’re all happy with the result, a challenge coin that is simple but meaningful.

American Trucking and Transportation Insurance Company, a Risk Retention Group, also known as ATTIC, RRG, is an insurance company that provides commercial auto liability insurance to large transportation companies operating throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It was formed in 2002 after a large contingency of large motor carriers urged us to develop an innovative approach to providing commercial auto liability insurance.

The mission of ATTIC, RRG is to provide its members/insureds with superior insurance products and services designed to improve the long-term stability of their insurance programs through competitive pricing, claims management, and risk control; and to provide a foundation to capitalize upon the synergy of the group and member expertise to strengthen each member/owner individually.

They commissioned a custom challenge coin that would represent their company and also their members, one of them being Watkins Shepard. They wanted a shiny, clean-looking coin, with minimal colors. So the basic concept is quite simple, just ATTIC, RRG logo on one side, and the Watkins Shepard’s on the other. And the colors are only on the logos, and a simple rope pattern encircling them on the edge of the coin. It’s one unsophisticated yet gorgeous challenge coin.

The 76th Operational Response Command exists to prepare Army Reserve forces to respond to what might be America’s worst day. The 76th ORC stands ready and capable of being the Army’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) leader and the Army Reserve’s single coordinator for Defense Support of Civilian Authorities (DSCA) response, providing Army Reserve staff augmentation for worldwide contingencies.

The 76th ORC will be ready to deploy technically, tactically, and with lethality, if required. they will be the Army Reserve’s main headquarters for DSCA response and will be the Army’s leader in expert CBRN capability. Most recently the 76th Operational Response Command’s Task Force was activated in March of 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Task Force 76, renamed Task Force West, was responsible for Department of Defense operations in FEMA regions VIII, IX, and X.

The custom challenge coin we made for them is a challenging one. Not because it has extraordinary design or shape, but because it has a lot of small insignias and logos to be engraved on both sides of the challenge coin. Each of them has various details, and they want to keep them in colors, so the painting process needs to be done carefully. The result is amazing, as you can see in the pictures.

Huff Daland Dusters, the predecessor of Delta, is founded in Macon, Ga., before moving to Monroe, La., a few months later. This was the first commercial agricultural flying company, and Huff Daland’s 18 planes become the largest privately owned fleet in the world. Today Delta has nine hubs, with Atlanta being its largest in terms of total passengers and number of departures.

It is ranked second among the world’s largest airlines by the number of scheduled passengers carried, revenue passenger kilometers flown, and fleet size, and it is ranked 69th on the Fortune 500. Delta One is the airline’s premier business class product, available on long-haul international flights, as well as transcontinental service from New York JFK to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle/Tacoma.

They wanted to have an elegant and luxurious custom challenge coin made exclusively for them. They wanted something distinguishable, so they asked us to design the coin in the shape of an airplane from their fleet. And they also wanted to include the insignias of the United States Armed Forces.

The result is one exquisite and distinctive challenge coin that really captures the spirit of Delta Air Lines. The front side of the coin is basically just a really smooth sculpture of their airplane, and the back side is filled with the perfectly engraved insignias with the US Flag as the background.

The world faces unprecedented global health and socio-economic crisis triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. The lives of millions of children and their families have already been upended. Lockdowns and school closures are affecting their education, mental health, and access to basic health services.

The economic and social disruption caused by the pandemic is devastating: tens of millions of people are at risk of falling into extreme poverty, while the number of undernourished people, currently estimated at nearly 690 million, could increase by up to 132 million by the end of the year.

Looking at the growing number of infections worldwide, COVID-19 is likely to stay with us for another year. That said if we can achieve vaccination of more than 70% of the world’s total population we should achieve “herd immunity,” or at least provide enough immunity to fight COVID-19 to a greater extent.

This custom challenge coin was designed and crafted for the survivors of the Covid-19 pandemic. There’s an embossed graphic design of Covid-19 viruses on the front side. And on the back of the coin, there’s an illustration of toilet paper and water bottles, which is supposed to be a sarcastic joke about the ‘panic buying’ during the pandemic.
