Freemasonry, the teachings and practices of the fraternal order of Free and Accepted Masons, the largest worldwide secret society – an oath-bound society, often devoted to fellowship, moral discipline, and mutual assistance, that conceals at least some of its rituals, customs, or activities from the public..

One of the biggest misconceptions in Freemasonry is the process to become a Freemason. For many years people believed that they needed to be asked by a Freemason to become a Freemason. Furthermore, to ask to become a Freemason would blackball you for life. This misunderstanding led to people losing years of fraternal ties because they are afraid to ask the Masons they knew if they could be a Mason.

Master Mason is a Freemason who has been raised to the third degree, and we were asked to build one custom challenge coin to be presented by a Master Mason for the 220th anniversary of the Mount Vernon lodge.

The design of this challenge coin is archetypal to vintage coins of the past. With the original symbols and insignia etched on both sides of the coin, we also applied some typical colors such as gold and maroon on the elements of the coin. These made the coin looks beautiful, everything was executed well and goes in harmony.

Maryland US Marshal Coin

The USMS (United States Marshals Service) is a bureau within the U.S. Department of Justice, operating under the direction of the Attorney General, but serves as the enforcement arm of the United States federal courts to ensure the effective operation of the judiciary and integrity of the Constitution. The USMS as it stands today was established in 1969 to provide guidance and assistance to U.S. Marshals throughout the federal judicial districts.

Today, the Marshals Service apprehends federal criminals who jump bail, violate parole, or escape from prison; and provides transportation and care for prisoners in its custody. Federal judges, court officials, jurors, and witnesses within and away from court facilities are protected by the Service. It also manages assets seized or forfeited as a result of criminal activities, such as drug trafficking, money laundering, organized crime, and fraud.

The coin that we crafted was built for the US Marshal of Maryland. Individuals who want to become a U.S. marshal in Maryland can do so by either applying during an open recruitment period or by completing the U.S. Marshals Service Centralized Student Career Experience Program.

The design concept of this beautiful custom challenge coin is it’s shaped like a US Marshal star/badge, with an engraved graphic image of Maryland’s Blue Crab on one side.

Motorola Solutions, Inc., is American video equipment, telecommunications equipment, software, systems, and services provider that succeeded Motorola, Inc., following the spinoff of the mobile phone division into Motorola Mobility in 2011. Motorola Mobility Holdings now handles the company’s mobile and consumer products business (like cell phones) while Motorola Solutions oversees next-generation communications products for enterprise and government (like police radios).

Motorola Solutions has been providing high-level two-way radio services to the public safety, manufacturing, health care, education, retail, entertainment, and service industries since 1948. They have two locations in Arkansas. Our Lowell location serves Northwest Arkansas, and our new North Little Rock location serves Central Arkansas.

Motorola develops analog and digital two-way radio, voice, and data communications products and systems, mobile computing, advanced data capture, wireless infrastructure, and RFID solutions to customers in Arkansas. This custom challenge coin that we made for them is to honor the cooperation of Motorola solutions and the state of Arkansas.

They wanted the custom challenge coin to be shaped like the map of Arkansas state. And they wanted to put the image of Arkansas’ flag on one side, and the logo of Motorola solutions on the other. Added with some details and colors, this simple yet unique coin really represents the partnership of the company and the state.

Nancy’s Real Talk No Rank Women’s Group is an assembly of the crew stationed at USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76). USS Ronald Reagan is the first aircraft carrier and the first nuclear-powered warship, of any type, to be named in honor of a living former president. Since 2016, USS Ronald Reagan has embarked on short annual summer patrols of the Western Pacific in the United States Seventh Fleet area of operation.

Nancy’s Real Talk No Rank Women’s Group then does a lot of events concerning the women in the armed forces. Like a symposium in Yokosuka, Japan, in 2018. Attendees react to a presentation during a Women’s History Month symposium in Yokosuka. The attendees were taking part in Women Trailblazing at Sea, a symposium featuring female leader presentations, discussion groups, and mentoring opportunities. The symposium was organized by USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76)’s Nancy’s Real Talk No Rank Women’s Group and Diversity Committee, which attracted approximately 200 Sailors.

We had the opportunity to build a custom challenge coin for them. They wanted something classic and elegant but also show the feminist spirit that the group has. On one side they wanted to show an image of a soldier’s boot sitting next to a high heel. And on the other side, they requested an image of a dog tag with some inscriptions, with pink as the main color scheme.

As part of the transaction, approximately 6,900 employees were transferred to Nokia Siemens Networks. The same month, Chinese telecommunications company Huawei and Motorola Solutions settled their intellectual property disputes.

Motorola Solutions provides radio communications solutions, FCC licensing assistance, service, and two-way radio rentals to enterprise and government customers in the state of Florida. They also install and manage Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), wireless networks, and video surveillance camera systems.

We were asked to build a custom challenge coin to commemorate the partnership between Motorola Solutions and the State of Florida. As with the other challenge coin ordered by Motorola Solutions, they always want the coin to be shaped like the map of the state which they have partnerships with.
