Andersen Air Force Base Guam is one of the few US military bases that can brag about being located in a living paradise. It is a little over 6 km far from Yigo, in the northern part of Guam. Guam is a territory run by a civilian government, but still belongs to the United States of America. The host unit at Andersen AFB is the 36th Wing (36 WG), assigned to the Pacific Air Forces Eleventh Air Force.

As the host unit at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, the 36th Wing’s mission is to project airpower, expand combat capability, and strengthen partnerships from the forward edge of the Indo-Pacific. The US Air Force currently controls four bomber locations throughout the world. The Guam base is one of them, therefore it is extremely important, regardless of the importance of the little island. All of these four locations have been actively involved in every conflict led by the United States of America, whether it was in Europe, Asia, or the Pacific.

We designed and crafted one custom challenge coin for the Guam USAF. They wanted to have an elegant and classic challenge coin, with a shiny finish and the placement of the engraved insignias on the design. They requested us to put the map of Guam on one side, and the map of the world on the other.

Grunt Style Keychain

Grunt Style Keychain

An army combat veteran, Daniel Alarik, started Grunt Style with $1,200 in his pocket in 2009. Alarik grew his brand to be worth over $100 million by selling not just clothing, but a lifestyle. Daniel served in the United States Army for 8 years and left after a tour as a Drill Instructor. Grunt Style is a brand for Patriots; a brand that has reached incredible heights at unbelievable speeds.

What does Grunt Style mean? It’s all about showing the fighting American spirit and conveying attitude. Grunt Style sells standard and custom clothing, accessories, and patriotic gear for all ages. Some of their collection is not for the faint of heart, designed for those who “love freedom, bacon, and whisky.”

Grunt Style is about the All-American lifestyle, so they carry a ton of different items. T-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, headwear, masks, drinkware, flags, belts, keychains, stickers, and other gear. They also offer custom-made merchandise to personalize your clothing and accessories. This Grunt Style review will showcase the brand’s most popular pieces.

We had a chance to produce a keychain for them. It’s a metal keychain with engravings with the crossed trees design and ‘Grunt Style Club’ letterings. No paints were applied and we created some details to make it look raw.

Mahaska Lodge 664 Coin

Mahaska Lodge 664 Coin

Mahaska Lodge 664 Coin

The word lodge really has two meanings for a Freemason. It is both a place where Masonic meetings are held and a collective term for the members who meet there. So, as weird as it sounds, you could say that a lodge meets in a lodge. A Masonic lodge often termed a private lodge or constituent lodge is the basic organizational unit of Freemasonry. It is also commonly used as a term for a building in which such a unit meets.

Technically, Freemasons meet as a lodge, not in a lodge. In this context, the word “lodge” refers to a local chapter of Freemasons, meeting as a body. However, the term is often misused to refer to the buildings or rooms that Masons meet in. Masonic premises are also sometimes referred to as temples.

Masonic lodges are named by their original founding members. They can be named after the town they’re in a historical figure, a famous Mason, or even a symbolic word or phrase. The name of the lodge is always followed by a number, such as Washington Lodge #13 or Ancient Landmarks Lodge #319.

This bright golden coin on the photos was the one we made for the Mahaska Lodge #664. With a shiny gold finish and the engraved heavy details on the emblems and the inscriptions, this coin looks magnificent and luxurious.

JMAS Challenge Coin

Defense Attache Offices (DAO), an arm of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), operate from U.S. embassies in more than a hundred locations globally. DAOs are composed of both civilian and military employees, most of whom receive specialized training at the Joint Military Attache School before their appointment.

JMAS or Joint Military Attaché School trains members of the five uniformed services and Department of Defense civilians for duty in DIA’s Defense Attaché Service. Only individuals ordered to the DAS and their spouses attend courses at JMAS. Their faculty and staff have all successfully completed tours in the DAS and bring years of practical experience to the training programs. They will learn in the classroom, practice using the material taught, and then apply what they have learned in a simulated scenario.

JMAS’ main mission is to provide world-class training and performance support enabling people to excel in the DAS. Their team of dedicated professionals at JMAS believes in a culture of excellence, innovation, and continual improvement that gives people the skills and motivation to achieve U.S. national security objectives while serving in the DAS.

The custom challenge coin we made for them is one of the extraordinary and coolest coins we have ever made. It’s machined from an image of a knight fighting a dragon, with all the details and colors which make this coin one-of-a-kind.

Hanover County Fire-EMS Coin

Hanover County Fire-EMS Coin

Hanover County Fire-EMS Coin

Hanover County is a county in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It has unique shops, great food, rivers, trails, parks and so much more. It is also known for its “Hanover tomatoes.” Rich in history, Hanover County is the birthplace of Patrick Henry, and Hanover Courthouse is the third-longest continuous-use courthouse in the United States.

Hanover Fire-EMS is a combination system consisting of a team of very dedicated career and volunteer emergency responders working side by side. Hundreds of men and women staff our sixteen stations throughout the county. Our strength is in the training and preparedness our emergency services team strives to provide. At Hanover Fire-EMS, their volunteers and career staff work closely together, undergoing the same advanced training and sharing one mission: to protect and serve the residents of Hanover County each and every day.

They requested us to produce a custom challenge coin for the Fire-EMS department of Hanover County. The coin was going to be presented for Operational Excellence by their Battalion Chief. The design was a pretty straightforward & classic challenge coin. On one side we put the engraved insignias with the US Flag as the background, and on the other, we put the name of the Battalion Chief in gold over a black background.
