The Criminal Investigations Unit of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio has a Drug Task Force which is a part of its Criminal Investigations Unit. Its principal mission is to identify, disrupt, and dismantle the major drug trafficking operations & tackle related crimes, such as money laundering, tax and weapon violations, and violent crime, and prosecute those primarily responsible for the nation’s drug supply.

The Sherriff’s Office commissioned us to produce a custom challenge coin for their Drug Task Force. They wanted something classic and elegant, with a minimalistic and clean look of a vintage coin. Nothing extraordinary, just the usual insignia and emblem etched to both sides of the coin.

Information Warfare Training Command (IWTC) Corry Station, located at Naval Air Station Pensacola Corry Station, Florida, is one of four commands for the Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT), a learning center for Naval Education and Training Command. Its mission is To deliver trained information warfare professionals to the Navy and joint services, enabling optimal performance of information warfare across the full spectrum of military operations.

Corry Station is often thought of as the “cradle of cryptology.” While they continue to provide cryptology training, they also train other members of the information warfare community. They also provide a continuum of information warfare training to Navy and joint service personnel that prepares them to conduct information warfare across the full spectrum of military operations.

Corpus Christi Army Depot Coin

Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is a United States Department of Defense that has been a tenant of the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. Established in 1961, CCAD’s mission is to ensure aviation readiness for all service and international sales programs and maintain the nation’s Organic Industrial Base through continuous aviation repair and remanufacturing activities- at home station and deployed- in support of the Soldiers, our Allied and Industry Partners, and the Department of Defense.

In 1519, on the Roman Catholic Feast Day of Corpus Christi, Spanish explorer Alonzo Alverez de Pineda discovered a lush semi-tropical bay on the southern coast of Texas. Corpus Christi began as a frontier trading post, founded in 1838-39 by Colonel Henry Lawrence Kinney, and It remained an obscure settlement until July 1845. In the late 1930s, the U.S. was becoming more involved with the war in Europe. The Navy saw a need for a new and larger pilot training facility and its eyes fell on Corpus Christi.

They requested a distinctive custom challenge coin, with the shape of the state of Texas. Other than that they only ask us to put their insignia on the front side of the coin, and other details such as texts and other graphics on the back.

Roswell is a city with a population of 94,884 in 2020, located in northern Fulton County, Georgia, United States. A close suburb of Atlanta, Roswell has an affluent historic district. One-third of Roswell’s 5.000 registered businesses were home-based. The largest industries were retail, technology, food services, wholesale trade, and health care.

The Roswell Police Department has a long history of providing excellent service to this community. It serves residents and visitors within the city, which is located 20 miles north of Atlanta. The 200-employee department serves a population of almost 100,000 and 41.95 square miles of property. With their help, Roswell continues to be listed as one of the safest cities in Georgia and in the Metro Atlanta area.

The custom challenge coin ordered by the Roswell PD was given to the Community Relations Unit for their achievement. The Community Relations Unit seeks to proactively prevent acts of discrimination and bias-based harassment through education and inclusive community engagement and to work directly with impacted communities after civil rights incidents occur.

Combat Vets Association Coin

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association or CVMA, is an association of veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles. The CVMA’s mission is to support and defend those who have defended their country and their freedoms.

In the year 1999, the CVMC was introduced to the internet, and pp until the first part of 2001, many of them were led to believe it was a true and established motorcycle organization. In the early months of 2001, many of the members found this scam out & alerted one another. Since we were all interested in the issues of Veterans, 45 members decided to form a Combat Veterans Association.

We had the honor to work on one of their distinguished custom challenge coins. Not only does it have the unique shape of an octagon, the CVMC also wants it to function as a bottle opener. They also requested their logo and emblem to be etched on both sides of the coin.

The CVMC skull logo was beautifully embossed and colored with gold and red, over a black background. And on the other side of the coin, we sculpted a phoenix flying over a mountain with the ‘Vets Helping Vets’ motto over it.
