205th MI Battalion Coin
The United States Army’s 205th Military Intelligence Brigade, also called 205th MI BDE, was constituted on 12 July 1944 in the Army of the United States as the 205th Counter Intelligence Corps Detachment. The brigade and its three battalions have a history dating back to World War II and have been in continuous active service since 1944.
The 205th Military Intelligence Brigade was allotted to the Regular Army on 6 October 1950 and has been involved in many US military operations, such as the Tet Offensive in Vietnam in 1969, deployed with Task Force Eagle in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1995, and Operation Iraqi Freedom in late 2003.
The custom challenge coin that we manufactured for them was somewhat fancy and elegant. They want it to be designed with a laurel wreath that surrounds round-shaped graphics that have their insignias and letterings inside them. They also want it have a glowing, polished look.
We managed to craft the coin with a precision that you can see the small sculpts, etched textures, and engraved letters even from a distance. The coin was perfectly coated in chrome coating on the wreath, and beautifully painted with bright glossy colors on the middle part.
