STA Military Sorority Inc. Coin

Sigma Theta Alpha Military Sorority Inc. is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.

The mission of Sigma Theta Alpha Military Sorority, Inc. is to launch and sustain women leaders while building the character and integrity of their members. They support their veteran community by being actively involved in service to the community and women veterans. They also aid their community in standing as advocates for childhood education, victims of domestic violence, and child abuse.

They requested us to build them a timeless and elegant custom challenge coin. The design concept was quite straightforward, they wanted their emblem on the front side of the coin, and on the back, they asked us to put the United States Armed Forces insignias.

While the request sounded simple, the execution needed to be handled carefully because we needed to make sure that all of the small-sized graphics, such as the heavily detailed Armed Forces insignias, were engraved precisely without errors. The next step would be applying the colors to said graphics, which could be done flawlessly thanks to our state-of-the-art equipment.
