Combat Vets Association Coin

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association or CVMA, is an association of veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles. The CVMA’s mission is to support and defend those who have defended their country and their freedoms.

In the year 1999, the CVMC was introduced to the internet, and pp until the first part of 2001, many of them were led to believe it was a true and established motorcycle organization. In the early months of 2001, many of the members found this scam out & alerted one another. Since we were all interested in the issues of Veterans, 45 members decided to form a Combat Veterans Association.

We had the honor to work on one of their distinguished custom challenge coins. Not only does it have the unique shape of an octagon, the CVMC also wants it to function as a bottle opener. They also requested their logo and emblem to be etched on both sides of the coin.

The CVMC skull logo was beautifully embossed and colored with gold and red, over a black background. And on the other side of the coin, we sculpted a phoenix flying over a mountain with the ‘Vets Helping Vets’ motto over it.
