114th Trooper School Coin
State Patrol or also called state police, provincial police or regional police are a type of sub-national territorial police force found in nations organized as federations. In the United States, it is the primary highway patrol agency for the state and the officers, also known as ‘State Troopers’ perform mainly on the state’s Interstate systems, conducting speed enforcement and interdicting drugs and other criminal activities.
The academy for civilians to be trained and accepted as troopers is commonly known as ‘Trooper School’. Following a rigorous selection process, trooper cadets attend around 10 to 30 weeks of basic training courses. When they graduate, under close supervision, they will patrol highways and roads to enforce traffic and criminal laws
This custom challenge coin was built for the graduates of the 114th Trooper Basic Class. They wanted to make something classy and elegant, and also have a nice design concept for it. The idea is to have the two sides of the coin represent the heritage of the State Trooper and their latest force.
On one side we engraved a classic state trooper riding his vintage motorcycle, and on the other side, we placed the engraving of the newest state patrol car used by the troopers.
