Walker Fire Challenge Coin
The Walker Fire Protection Association serves the community of Walker which is near Prescott, Arizona. They are an all-volunteer, donation-based department. Founded in 1863 and located in Yavapai County, Walker is a friendly community that is just miles from Prescott.
The Walker Fire Department is made up of volunteers eager to provide the best volunteer fire protection and emergency medical services possible to the communities that support them. They pledge to respond to all calls for service any time of day to mitigate hazards and protect the lives and property of our citizens and visitors and to be proactive in being the best community-focused all hazards department that meets the ever-changing needs of our community through professional development, unity, and teamwork.
The Walker Fire Station 81 commissioned us for the production of their custom challenge coin. They wanted something contemporary and up-to-date for the graphic and overall design. They wanted an engraving of their Fire Truck on one side, and a stylized image of the scenery of the Yapavai County nature on the other side.
The coin’s base material is a golden-colored metal, finished clean without any patterns on the edge. The images on both sides were machined and colored perfectly.
