Veteran Ventures Capital (VVC) is a premier, mission-focused venture capital firm that has established itself as a key player at the intersection of the military community and the innovation economy. They came to us and wanted to create a unique challenge coin to be awarded to their personnel. As opposed to a normal-looking round coin, they ask us to fabricate the coin in the shape of a military dog tag. The idea was taken from their own logo, a bald eagle wearing dog tags, which was also engraved on the front side of the tag.

On the other side, they only want to put the Star Spangled Banner engraved and painted with the original colors, with some lettering of their motto decorating the empty spaces around the flag. The surface of the tag was finished with a gritty texture made with our computerized machine to give a raw, tough look.
