“Wells Warriors” is the specific name for the “class” or “team” of students and staff for a particular graduation cycle. The name “Wells” is in honor of Lieutenant Colonel Dean L. “Wildman” Wells, a legendary F-105 Thunderchief pilot and Vietnam War veteran who was shot down multiple times and served as a key leader at the Weapons School.
And the “Armed Force Night” is the weekly social event for the Weapons School community. It takes place on Thursday nights. For a school with an immense workload and constant pressure, it serves as a crucial pressure-release valve. It’s a time for classmates, instructors, and their spouses to socialize, build camaraderie, and unwind together at the on-base club or a designated spot.
We were given the task to design and build a custom challenge coin for the special event. Nothing extraordinary with the design concept, just an ordinary round-shaped coin, but with a unique feature of a chain pattern engraved on the rims of the coin, and their mascot and motto to be engraved on the sides of the coin.
Before we deliver the design to our production team with cutting-edge machinery, we have our experienced team of graphic designers to create mock-ups of the final design digitally. We make sure that everything is laid out nicely and correctly, and have it approved by our clients before it goes into production.
If you’re not sure that your design would work well with your custom item, feel free to reach us and consult it before you order. We’ll help you the best we can to turn it into reality.
