The U.S. Navy Maritime Weapons School exist to develop, teach, and standardize advanced tactics, weapons employment, and combat training for naval aviation units that operate in the maritime domain. They act as centers of excellence for their respective aircraft and missions, ensuring that squadrons are fully prepared for combat deployment against modern threats at sea and in the littorals.

The U.S. Navy has several Weapons Schools focused on maritime operations, including the Helicopter Maritime Strike Weapons School (HSMWSP) and the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Weapons School (MPRWS). These schools provide advanced training in tactics, weapons systems, and operational procedures for specific naval platforms and mission areas.

We had the opportunity to fabricate an attractive custom challenge coin for them. There’s nothing extraordinary about the shape of the decorations of the coin, as they only requested that both sides have images of a submarine locked in a crosshair. Our team of graphic designers started with some concept illustrations to make sure that both sides have an equally aesthetic look.

Once the designs are approved, our state-of-the-art machinery will convert the digital renderings into a precisely cut coin made from our selected high-quality metal. You can check out the photos and see that the images, lines, and letters are accurately engraved to the smallest details. Finished with premium enamel paints, the challenge coin looks sharp and shiny.

If you think your simple and clean design could make a great coin or belt buckle design, consult with us, and we can give you options on how it could be fabricated at Embleholics.
