Superintendent Academy STOBG Challenge Coin

The Superintendent Academy at STO Building Group (STOBG) is a professional development program designed to enhance the skills and career growth of the company’s field staff. It offers specialized training and networking opportunities aimed at promoting both professional and personal development. STOBG is a global construction management and general contracting firm comprising over 5,100 employees across 54 offices in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

The Superintendent Academy is part of STOBG’s broader commitment to professional development, which includes programs like the Rotational Project Engineer (RPE) Program and Learning 360°. These initiatives provide employees with comprehensive training and mentorship to prepare them for leadership roles within the company.

They asked us to manufacture a simple, clean, yet elegant challenge coin for them. The design is quite minimalistic, with only some lettering and a pattern as the background on one side, and the image of their coat of arms on the other. A circular line pattern was used as the background for both sides of the coin, and the applied colors were only black and white, used for the coat of arms engraving.

Before we execute the production and the machining process, we have our team of graphic designers making sure that the layout and the elements we put on the coin are well-designed and recognizable by our state-of-the-art equipment. You can see from this coin that we can produce some accurate small details, such as the line pattern and the embossed lettering.
