The Hanover County Fire EMS – Fire Marshal is the official division within the Hanover County (Virginia) Department of Fire-EMS responsible for fire prevention, code enforcement, and fire investigation. It is the “proactive” and “investigative” arm of the fire department.
While firefighters are known for responding to emergencies (the reactive side), the Fire Marshal’s Office works to prevent those emergencies from happening in the first place. Their key responsibilities include: Fire Prevention and Code Enforcement (Plan Reviews, Inspections, and Permits), Fire Origin and Cause Investigation (Determining Cause and Arson Investigation), Public Fire Safety Education (School Programs, Community Events, and CPR and Safety Training), and Fire Protection Engineering.
We were ordered to fabricate an elegant and classy custom challenge coin to be awarded to the Fire Marshals of Hanover County. The concept design was simple: Just their insignia etched on the front side of the coin, the Hanover County map image embossed on the back, and decorated with some inscriptions and lettering of their motto.
We had our team of graphic designers create a mock-up of the design to be approved by our client, and had it finalized in a digital format that can be read by our state-of-the-art computerized machine at our production facility. Our machine and equipment can cut and shape virtually any design limited by our imagination, and have it finished with many kinds of finishes, such as brush effect, textures, and enamel paint layers for coloring.
If you have ideas or designs for your coins, medals, or other accessories like bottle openers and belt buckles, send them to us at Embleholics, and we can give you a quote & estimate to produce them into high-quality products.
