Understanding the company requires looking at its business model, its target market, and the reasons for its success and criticism. At its heart, Credit Acceptance is not a direct-to-consumer lender. Instead, its primary customer is the automobile dealer.

The ‘Director of Inside Sales’ is a senior leadership role at Credit Acceptance Corporation (CAC). This person is responsible for leading, coaching, and managing the team of inside sales representatives who are the primary point of contact for car dealerships to enroll them in the company’s financing programs. It’s a strategic role focused on driving business growth through team performance and relationship management, entirely over the phone and online.

We were given the task to manufacture a beautiful custom challenge coin for Credit Acceptance’s Director of Inside Sales. The design was minimalistic and modern, with the use of clean lines, minimal patterns, but still had complex details on the graphical elements embossed on the coin’s sides.

Our team of designers made sure that the elements used in the coin’s design were placed well, and had them approve the design’s digital mock-up before we handed it over to our production team to be processed and applied to the base material used for this challenge coin. Finalized with a brush effect finish and some high-quality enamel paints on some surfaces, this coin is truly a piece of art.
