Payment for custom challenge coins is due in full before production begins, after you have approved the artwork rather than when you first enquire. Government agencies and institutional buyers using purchase orders are the exception, and are invoiced on agreed terms.

The sequence: enquiry and quote (free), artwork and revisions (free), your approval of the digital proof, then payment, then 45 to 50 days of production, then delivery.

Custom manufacturing works this way across the industry, and the reason is structural rather than a matter of trust. A die is cut specifically for your artwork and the coins carry your unit’s crest, your department’s badge or your company’s logo. They can’t be resold to anyone else. Unlike stock merchandise, there’s no recoverable inventory if an order is abandoned mid-production.

What protects you on your side: you see and approve a digital proof before any money moves, the approved proof becomes the specification the coins are made against, and the order is guaranteed against that specification. Nothing is charged during the quote and design stage, so you can take a project to a fully designed proof at no cost and no commitment.

Exception: we accept purchase orders and agreed payment terms from government agencies, military units and institutional buyers.
