Yes. A single design can be produced across coins, keychains, belt buckles and lapel pins, and you do not pay for the artwork twice. This is one of the more useful things to know before you commission a design.

The usual pattern: a coin as the presentation piece, handed over personally and kept, with keychains as the everyday item that goes on a set of keys and gets seen daily. The shared design ties them together, and the keychain costs less per piece than the coin.

What adapts cleanly and what needs adjusting:

  • Adapts directly. The central crest, badge or logo, the colour scheme, and the plating and finish choices.
  • Needs adjusting. Fine detail and small text, because a keychain or pin is usually smaller than a coin. Our artists simplify where needed rather than shrinking the artwork, which is what keeps the smaller item legible.
  • Changes by product. Each item has its own minimum order and its own lead time, so a mixed order is quoted per product rather than as one line.

Tell us the full mix when you enquire rather than ordering the coin first, because designing with both in mind from the start produces a better result on the smaller item.
