Yes. A section, watch, shift, company, platoon, academy class or any other small group can order its own coins directly. You do not need to go through a command-level purchase, and most of our unit work comes from groups this size.

The minimum order is 50 coins, which suits these groups well. A watch section, a shift, a graduating class or a small detachment typically lands between 50 and 200 pieces.

What usually happens in practice: one person coordinates, collects the design input, and handles the order. Everyone chips in, or the group fund covers it, or a government purchase card is used where the purchase qualifies.

Two things worth settling early. Agree who approves the final design before artwork starts, because a proof circulating among twelve people without a decision-maker is the most common cause of delay. And order above your headcount, since coins get handed to visiting staff and to people who arrive after the order goes in.

Artwork and unlimited revisions are free at any quantity, so a small group pays nothing to find out what their coin would look like.
