A Write to Heal: Turning Pain Into Purpose
One of the most meaningful stories we shared this month came from A Write to Heal, a nonprofit focused on helping people process trauma and rebuild their lives through creative work. Their programs bring together storytelling, film, and technology to give veterans, survivors of abuse, and at-risk youth a way to reclaim their voices and move forward with purpose.
What we love about this kind of mission is how practical it is. It’s not about vague inspiration. It’s hands-on training, real tools, and community support that helps people turn hard experiences into something useful and lasting. If you haven’t read the feature yet, it’s worth a few minutes. It’s the kind of work that sticks with you.
ICE: A Legacy of Service
We also spotlighted the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the role the agency plays in protecting communities and supporting national security. The story walks through ICE’s mission and history, and why challenge coins remain an important way for units to recognize service, milestones, and shared identity.
This is the heart of what we try to do in every project: help teams tell their story in a way that feels true to who they are.
Featured Craftsmanship
U.S. Marine Corps Acquisition Security Challenge Coin
This coin balances tradition with modern mission-focus. The front side features a contemporary shield design over a battlefield backdrop with Marine symbolism, while the back side leans into a classic Navy-style crest framed by a rope border. The overall result feels both sharp and timeless.

It’s a great example of how a design can honor heritage while still looking forward.
CJTF-HOA Information Operations Challenge Coin
For CJTF-HOA, the coin needed to reflect strategy, influence, and mission impact. The front uses a bold wizard illustration holding the Earth, a torch, and a raven to represent control of information, illumination of truth, and calculated reach. The back features the IO emblem stamped over a circuit-board texture, giving it a clean, modern edge.

This one is a fun reminder that the best coins don’t just look good. They tell a story fast, even before someone reads a single word on it.

Featured Google Review of the Month
“Our nonprofit ordered a custom challenge coin from Embleholics. Through the entire process, they were helpful and professional. Their design team took our logo and incorporated aspects of the coin we requested to create an absolutely beautiful product. On arrive there was a small error, and they went far above and beyond to correct the entire order, without question, and expedited. We will be absolutely thrilled to continue to work with this veteran organization moving forward!”
Thank you! We’re especially glad you called out the process and how the fix was handled. Mistakes are rare, but how you respond when they happen matters. We take that seriously every time.
If you’ve worked with us recently and want to share your experience, leave a Google review. It helps other teams feel confident starting their own coin project.
Looking Ahead
We’ll keep bringing you more partner stories, more behind-the-scenes looks at how coins come together, and more examples of what teams across the country are building with Embleholics.
If your unit, nonprofit, department, or organization has something worth marking, we’d be honored to help you design it.
