At Embleholics, challenge coins aren’t just collectibles — they’re symbols of identity, pride, and purpose. This month, we’re excited to spotlight two recent custom coin projects that reflect craftsmanship at the highest level and missions that matter.
Spring Hill Fire Department — Training Division Challenge Coin
We recently had the honor of producing a custom challenge coin for the Spring Hill Fire Department Training Division.
- Front: The department badge — clean, bold, and instantly recognizable
- Back: The training tower paired with their tagline, representing preparation, discipline, and readiness
This coin was designed to celebrate the people who put in the work before the call ever comes in. It’s a great example of how a well-designed coin can reinforce culture, training standards, and team pride within a department.

U.S. Navy PEO SSN — TAC Submarines Challenge Coin
We’re also proud to showcase a recent project for the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office for Attack Submarines (PEO SSN).
PEO SSN is responsible for the full lifecycle of America’s nuclear-powered attack submarines — from design and construction to modernization and long-term support of the most advanced submarines in the world.
This coin features a braided brass rope edge, a highly detailed finish that adds depth, weight, and distinction. Edge detailing like this isn’t easy to execute well — and we’re especially proud of how this one turned out.

Veteran Challenge Coins: More Than a Token
Challenge coins have long played a role in military culture — but today, they’re also helping foster connection, conversation, and support, especially among veterans.
Veteran-focused challenge coins can:
- Encourage connection and shared identity
- Serve as conversation starters around mental health
- Reinforce that no one carries the load alone
We’re seeing more organizations use coins intentionally — not just as recognition, but as a bridge to real conversations that matter.
The Genesis Mission: AI, National Security, and Energy
Looking ahead, we’re closely watching the Genesis Mission — a federally funded, multi-agency initiative focused on AI, national security, and energy infrastructure.
In scope and ambition, it’s being compared to the Manhattan Project, but with a modern focus: artificial intelligence, resilience, and long-term strategic advantage.
Programs like this will shape how government agencies, defense organizations, and industry partners collaborate — and how symbolism, recognition, and mission identity continue to evolve alongside emerging technology.
