Check things you can verify independently rather than claims on a website: business registration, a real portfolio of named customer projects, published specifications, and whether they show you a proof before manufacturing.

Five signals that can be checked:

  • A real project gallery. Named, specific customer work with context, meaning this unit, this department, this occasion, rather than stock renderings or generic coin photos that appear on a dozen other sites.
  • Published specifications. Minimum order, production time, sizes, metals, plating options, what’s included. A supplier who won’t state a minimum or a lead time in public is a supplier whose answers change.
  • A proof before production. Nothing should be manufactured until you’ve seen and approved a design. Any supplier who wants to skip that step is one to avoid.
