Production takes 45 to 50 days after artwork approval, exactly as it does for any other order. What makes a government order take longer overall is the procurement process on your side, not the manufacturing on ours.

The full path, with both halves stated:

  1. Request a quote. Free, with no commitment. Ask for it formatted for your file.
  2. Vendor verification. Checking our SAM registration, UEI F3AGRUW5RT53 and CAGE code 1AYR0. Usually quick.
  3. Requisition and approval. Internal, and the stage that varies most. A micro-purchase on a purchase card can be same-day. A purchase order through a contracting office takes considerably longer.
  4. Artwork and approval. Initial artwork is usually ready within 12 to 48 hours, then approval rounds through your chain of command.
  5. Production. 45 to 50 days from written approval.
  6. Delivery. Free within the continental United States, with APO and FPO available.

The step agencies most often underestimate is step 3, because it is the one nobody schedules. A coin order held three weeks awaiting a signature has consumed three weeks of the timeline with no production progress.

Working back from an event, allow 10 to 12 weeks minimum, and more if a contracting office is involved.
