T-Mobile US, Inc. is one of the largest wireless network operators in the United States. It’s a major provider of cellular phone service, mobile internet, and other related products and services to millions of consumers and businesses. It has several significant collaborations with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and its various branches, primarily focused on providing secure, reliable, and advanced wireless connectivity.
These partnerships are a mix of standard enterprise-level services and highly specialized, custom-built solutions for national security. T-Mobile’s collaboration with the U.S. Military is multi-faceted, including: Future-Proofing Communications, Day-to-Day Operations, Technology Innovation, and Ensuring Security. These collaborations position T-Mobile not just as a telecom vendor, but as a strategic technology partner in the DoD’s efforts to maintain its technological edge.
In a nutshell, T-Mobile is a major American wireless carrier known for its disruptive “Un-Carrier” brand, its large 5G network, and its role as a key competitor to Verizon and AT&T. It provides the cell service that powers millions of smartphones and, through its scale and technology, also engages in significant partnerships with entities like the U.S. military.
We had the opportunity to build a custom challenge coin for T-Mobile, commemorating their partnership with the US Military. The design was somewhat simple yet full of details, as we need to make sure that all of the tiny letters and graphics are well-machined and perfectly painted so the logos and symbols are all recognizable and readable from an optimal distance.
