Gold Star Families of Washington is a specific, state-level chapter of the national American Gold Star Mothers, Inc. organization. It is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization composed of family members (primarily mothers, but often including fathers, spouses, siblings, and children) who have lost a loved one in military service.
Their primary mission is to provide peer support, compassion, and resources to the families of the fallen. They create a community where members can connect with others who truly understand their loss. The connection is profound and rooted in a century-old tradition of honor and sacrifice. The term “Gold Star” is directly tied to a symbol used by military families during times of war.
We had the honor to produce a very elegant and graceful custom challenge coin for the Gold Star Families. They wanted something timeless, a contemporary round-shaped challenge coin with some engraved elements, such as their logo and the US Military insignias carved as reliefs on both sides of the coin.
We can see in the photos that our cutting-edge machinery did an excellent job of shaping and carving the golden-colored metal base material, with a lot of petite details of graphical elements and inscriptions. Our equipment can make sure that even the tiniest details can be carved and painted with high-quality paints, as you can see on the small US Military insignias on this coin.
Bring your design of complex graphics and elements to us at Embleholics, and we’ll help you build it into an excellent memento for your team or unit.
