The minimum order for custom challenge coins at Embleholics is 50 coins.
That number exists because of how coins are made. A custom coin requires a die cut specifically for your artwork, and that tooling cost is the same whether the run is 50 pieces or 5,000. Below about 50 coins, the per-coin price climbs to the point where most buyers would rather increase the quantity than pay it.
50 coins suits most real orders. A watch section, a shift, an academy class, a small command, a lodge or a department training division typically lands between 50 and 200 pieces. Ordering a small buffer above your headcount is worth doing. Coins get given away faster than people expect, and a reorder later means a second setup.
The per-coin price drops as quantity rises, so if you’re deciding between 50 and 100, ask for both figures. The gap is often smaller than people assume.
The 50-coin minimum applies across our challenge coin categories, including military, first responder and government agency coins. Minimums for other products such as belt buckles and lapel pins are quoted separately.
