Yes. Our in-house artists will design your challenge coin from an idea alone, at no cost. You don’t need artwork, software or a designer.

An idea is a workable starting point. The inputs that help most:

  • The organization: unit, department, agency, lodge, company or class
  • The occasion: deployment, retirement, promotion, graduation, anniversary, award
  • Existing imagery: crest, patch, badge, seal or logo, in any format you have it
  • Wording: names, dates, mottos, hull numbers, anything that must appear exactly as written
  • Reference coins: photos of coins you like, or ones you do not
  • Look and feel: antique and understated, or bright and colorful

From that, an artist produces a digital proof of both faces. You revise it as many times as you need, and nothing is manufactured until you approve it.

Reference coins are more useful than people expect. “Like this one, but with our crest and in antique gold” removes a whole round of guesswork.
