Yes. Embleholics retains molds and production information so your coin can be reordered. A new mold may be required in two situations: if the original mold is more than five years old, or if the design changes.
That five-year window is the practical detail to plan around. A unit coin reordered annually will run on the original tooling. A coin last produced six or seven years ago will need new tooling, which affects both cost and lead time on what feels like a simple repeat.
Design changes are the other trigger. Updating a date, a commander’s name or a finish may mean new tooling, depending on how substantial the change is. Tell us what you want changed before you order and we will confirm whether the existing mold can be used.
Two things worth doing on your side, whatever we hold:
Keep your approved proof. It is the specification for the coin. Save it somewhere the next person in the role can find it, because unit coin projects change hands and the file often disappears with whoever ordered it.
Note the order details. Date, quantity, size, plating and enamel type. It takes a minute and makes a reorder years later straightforward.
