Generally no. The Embleholics minimum order for custom challenge coins is 50, so a 30-coin run falls below what we produce.
The reason is arithmetic rather than sales pressure. A custom coin needs a die cut specifically for your artwork, and that tooling cost is identical whether the run is 30 pieces or 300. Below 50 coins the per-coin price climbs to a point most buyers would rather avoid by adding to the order.
In practice the cost difference between 30 and 50 coins is much smaller than the 20-coin gap suggests, because those extra pieces are mostly metal and plating rather than setup paid twice. You end up with roughly 20 spares for very little.
Those spares get used. Sections hand coins to visiting staff, to the outgoing chief, to whoever covered the watch, and to the two people who arrive after the order goes in. Groups that order exactly to headcount almost always come back wanting more, and a reorder means a second wait of 45 to 50 days.
Tell us your budget and headcount when you enquire and we will tell you what is workable rather than quoting something you cannot use.
Artwork and unlimited revisions are free at any quantity. You can see coins we have made for units in the gallery, or request a free quote.
